Accord Hosted coordination alpha

Honest about what the alpha can and cannot do.

This page is short on purpose. The receipt for each request is the authoritative record of what happened.

What Accord stores

  • The request title, date range, duration, and expiry you enter.
  • The names and emails of invitees you list, even before they reply.
  • The time windows or decline answer each invitee chooses to send.
  • Plain-language receipts of what was sent and what was not.

What Accord does not collect

  • Your calendar contents, locations, or attendees.
  • Your contacts or inbox.
  • Availability, preferences, or calendar data from invitees who do not reply.

Limits of stopping or expiry

  • Stopping future sharing or letting an invite expire prevents new replies.
  • It cannot delete information another person has already seen.

Storage

  • Local alpha runs keep data in a local JSON file on the machine running them.
  • Hosted private-beta runs keep data in the configured Postgres database.
  • The hosted beta will publish a written retention window before broader launch.
